To capture a moment, to feel it's spirit; this is what drives artist Karin Snoots to paint not for herself but for the viewer. Whether it's riding the perfect wave or a stolen moment with natures finest, brushing away the white of the canvas to reveal the spirit of the image beneath is the secret behind her work.

She moved to Delaware to pursue her passion for painting, leaving the commercial print industry where she was employed as a Senior Illustrator for one of the Nations leading Corporations in Information Technology.

She and her husband share in the joy of the outdoors, "The Ocean is our sacred place, it is here that the boundaries shift between nature and I am able to gain insight and access to a deeper level of awareness."
